Look out for our outdoor and street entertainers on and off during the day, at various locations in Ryde.

EASTERN GARDENS

For children, go and check out Revenge of the Lawn of the Dead who will be conducting a fun kids workshop. Have a go at Wizard Wand making or perhaps a Sonic Screwdriver. Keep a look out for our wandering friendly giant Ziggy Sea Monster, for a memorable encounter. Kids will be tugging at your sleeves asking to have their faces painted in a Steampunk theme, although Steampunk Face Painting is every bit as much for adults too.

For Chitty Chitty Bang Bang fans, our four-fendered friend will be hanging around for the day. A must for a photoshoot. Staying on the theme of vehicles, you must checkout another favourite - Teapot Racing. It's a humorous spectacle in itself, and everyone can have a go - teapots provided!

Watch out! The Vikings are coming! Wolfguard will be entertaining you with a re-enactment of a Viking battle. The Island's very own swashbuckling pirate Ed will be putting on a Buccaneer Pirate Display in Eastern Gardens.

ROYAL VICTORIA ARCADE

Over at the Royal Victoria Arcade, be sure to catch the Razor Jake Band, a musical theatrical trio. There you will also be entertained by Symphonie Hurdy Gurdy playing TechnoPirate, Gurdybird, visiting all the way from Penzance, to performing for you. Be sure to catch Caroline the Musical Saw Lady, who will be performing too.

ROYAL ESPLANADE HOTEL FORECOURT

Another chance to catch Caroline the Musical Saw Lady, will be on the forecourt outside the hotel.

UNION STREET

The Snobby Dodgems will entertain you on the street, with their world of visual artistry, storytelling and puppetry.

THE STAR COFFEE AND ALE HOUSE

No Steampunk Festival can happen without the iconic event Tea Duelling. Try your hand and hope to win. Also today, the Isle of Wight's very own belly dancing troupe, Eye of the Dawn Dancers, will perform a dance routine to music. The Razor Jake Band, will also perform here too.

RYDE PIER

Very sadly, the Waverley Paddle Steamer will not be docking at Ryde Pier on Saturday. An issue with the pier has resulted in there being no berth available for Waverley to use. Waverley will still cruise around the Island, so you may still be able to spot her leave Portsmouth and make her way along The Solent. There is no guarantee which direction she will travel - clockwise or anti-clockwise - as this is tide dependent.
